NewtNeut—simply Newt to his viewers— was hosting his 22nd birthday live on stream As part of the festivities, he held a “funeral” for the outgoing model using a “coffin” he’d picked up off the side of the road. Once everyone had left and the night came to a close, Newt slipped and locked himself in the coffin which revealed itself to be a cryostasis chamber, a spectacular accident that left Newt very much frozen with no way of being freed until the freeze had run its course.

And a long, long, long time later, he was rudely awoken in a hospital to the news of a giant bill for his extended stay. With no money to his name, the only sensible move was to flee. Now, perpetually on the run, he scrapes by on odd jobs and the occasional stream, searching for a place in a world that sped far ahead while he was snoozing.
